Photographer's Note
I am so glad that I have bought myself a new toy. With it I can now find some new POVs in Warsaw that were impossible with the old lens. Today the weather was splendid so I went again to learn how to use it .
I wonder if somebody guess when I stood making this photo.
Warsaw Old Town, the Cathedral and the Jesuit Church. Jezuit Church, otherwise the Church of the Gracious Mother of God is an ornate church immediately adjacent to St. John's Cathedral, it is one of the most notable mannerist churches in Poland's capital. Its beautiful slender tower may be seen from the Old Town Market Place.

Hi Malgorzata,
A new lens usually brings a whole new way to approach the same subjects with a different perspective, adding more fun and creativity. But it also cause back pain when walking for hours with 4 or 5 of them... :-p))
You will master your new lens in no time, as you already know a lot about photography and this image shows what you can already achieve. Photography is always about light and composition, no matter what tools you are using.
I can't guess where you took this photo, but I can appreciate the result with a succession of splendid rooftops, dome and bell tower.
I guess we will see a lot of 200mm shots over the coming weeks... :-p))
Have fun!

Congratulations Malgorzata for your new mirrorless camera, the Sony NEX-5K. You have definitely exposed the image to limit of your camera with aperture of 29, ensuring that you get the maximum depth of field, so that the smallest of crosses on the top of the roof are visible . Now I believe that this aperture has slowed down your shutter to 0. The warmer tones make me think that you have used a polarizing filter. Is this true or is the lens created by Sony is so unique so as to defy the logic?
Waiting for the reply.
My regards

Hello dear Malgorzata,
Congratulations to youe new lens !
I rememner to my "analog times" from when I still have a dozen different lenses, which I do not know what to do ! With my 70 years I do not think that I'll have a third generation of lenses but your "new" one has made a perfect job !
Perfect sharpness and nice details.
TFS and have a nice weekend
Best regards

Different from the one I just critiqued- much softer colours and more complex architecture, but again the image is crisp and the light lovely. Pozdrawiam. Klaudio.

Awesome capture of this beautiful architecture with your new lens! Great lighting and dof with sharp details. Wonderful colors. Very well done, tfs.
(Sorry about your experience in Las Vegas, I don't gamble but I do enjoy all the things that casinos offer: the Bellagio Garden, fountains, free outdoor shows and most of the free entertainments and nightclubs. I go dancing, most of the time at no cost, 5 nights a week. There are also a lot of places to take nature photography like birds, wild horses, desert flowers, etc.)

So you too have a new toy! I am so glad to hear it, and wow f/29 - I didn't think a lens went to that small an aperture! This image is pin-sharp. The colours are stunning and yet so natural and the definition is so good we can account for every ridge and detail in that beautiful architecture. BELLISSIMA CARA, BRAVA!
Un abbraccio
