New railway station near the National Stadium in Warsaw.
The National Stadium football stadium in Warsaw, Poland on the site of the former 10th-Anniversary Stadium. The new stadium has a seating capacity of 58,500. Its construction started in 2008 and finished in November 2011. The stadium has a unique retractable PVC roof which unfolds from a nest on a needle suspended above the centre of the pitch. The national stadium is due to host the opening match (a group match), remaining 2 group matches, a quarterfinal, and a semifinal of the UEFA Euro 2012 hosted jointly by Poland and Ukraine.
The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2012, will be the 14th European Championship for national football teams organised by UEFA. The final tournament will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012. It is the first time that either nation has hosted the tournament. This bid was chosen by UEFA's Executive Committee in 2007.
The final tournament features sixteen nations, the last European Championship to do so (from Euro 2016 onward, there will be 24 finalists). Qualification was contested by 51 nations between August 2010 and November 2011 to join the two host nations in the tournament. The winner of the tournament gains automatic entry to the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup hosted by Brazil.
I post this photo to invite you to Warsaw. If someone from TE Members will come to Warsaw, I would be happy to meet (but not at the match!) and to be guide in my city.

Witaj Malgorzato,
Dodatkowo pomaga to w stworzeniu ciekawego efektu.Peron wydaje się teraz nieskonczenie długi.Znakomita praca.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie

Excelent DOF on the modern RR station, Malgo.
Architecture show here clean & strait lines, much with glass, less concrete. You also collected a fine variable light and shadows.
Enjoy a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Malgorzata,
This is a picture that grows on me. At first glance it is quite plain, but then I get rather fascinated by the abundance of diagonal lines all leading me towards the other end of the platform. Here and there along the way little red details brighten the view. Actually this is quite a sophisticated composition, very elegant.
Although Poland is definitely a possible destination for me within the next few years I am most unlikely to ever get close to the National Stadium. Anyway, Sweden plays its three games in Kiev (before getting knocked out).
Kind regards,
Gert

Witaj Malgorzato,
Looks a little like the train lines in China, at least in Jiangsu. Might post a shot one of these days. I like the sharpness, punchy light contrasts & the superb linear perspective diminishing from front to back towards the vanishing point. The people add scale & context. Tfs!

Hi Malgo,
Super perspective with clean lines. I like the splashes of coloured glass against the steely grey. Very well done.

Hi Malgorzata
A grand interior shot from excellent viewpoint, so pin sharp with splendid details in superb clarity. Loong perspective with strong diagonal lines creating an immense depth and wonderful to see how these lines intersect at infinity. A delightful image, well taken. Congrats.
Best regards

Malgo,
I like this "stillshot" with a lot of depth. There are lines all over this picture but still remains a quite and calm picture. Nice done
