Rear (north face) of the Royal Palace on the Water

It was close to sunset and the rays of the sun pass through the trees

History

The Palace on the Water (Polish: Pałac na Wodzie), also called the Łazienki Palace (Pałac Łazienkowski) and the Palace on the Island (Pałac na Wyspie), was built in the 17th century by Tylman van Gameren for Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski. Between 1772 and 1793 it was remodeled by Domenico Merlini for King Stanisław August Poniatowski, who made it his residence.

Architecture of the Palace
The palace is built on an artificial island that divides the lake into two parts, a smaller northern lake and a larger southern one. The palace is connected to the surrounding park by two Ionic colonnaded bridges. The façades are unified by an entablature carried by giant Corinthian pilasters that link its two floors and are crowned by a balustrade that bears statues of mythologic figures. The north façade is relieved by a central pedimented portico. On the south front, a deep central recess lies behind a screen of Corinthian columns.

Czekałam na Twoje kolejne zdjęcie:) I widzę, że warto było, bo to jest wyjątkowa kompozycja.
Promienie słońca, które przebijają się przez drzewa, odbijają w tafli wody oraz oświetlają spacerującą parę są absolutnie fantastyczne. Pięknie to zrobiłeś. Brawo!

Hello Leszek,
Very beautiful light on the trees, the plants and the water. It creates so many nice autumn tones in the foliage.
I also like the reflection in the water of the sun breaking through the small hole in the trees.
Very good light management.

bardzo podoba mi sie perspektywa,ktora tutaj wybrales.Pora dnia tez odgrywa wazna role w kompozycji,co znakomicie pokazales na tym przykladzie.Promienie slonca przebijajace sie przez drzewa oraz odbijajace sie od powierzchni wody wygladaja super.Udalo ci sie wydobyc niezwykly klimat tego miejsca.

very nice shot at sun set time...like the composition...the walking persons add a fine touch for this image...like the play of light on the passage through the trees...also like the sun rays coming out from the BG foliage...
good exposure controlled with nice color tones & sharpness...good information also...

Super wydobyte światło na wodzie, ścieżce i drzewach. Wczoraj oglądałam na laptopie (i tak sobie wyglądało) a dzisiaj na dobrym monitorze (niesamowicie przepiękne światło). Poza tym super kompozycja z kawką na pierwszym planie i spacerujacymi ludźmi

Witam,
z powodzeniem udało się podzielić obraz na trzy panele.
1.plimbarea dwa znaki na przepięknej alei
Woda w połączeniu z sylwetkę 2.luciul pałacu
3. najważniejszych krawędzi, która kryje się dyskretnie światło słoneczne
Wspaniałe zdjęcia.

Hello Leszek,

I like very much the composition and the light management here. The note is highly informative, and the entire package is in the best spirit of Trekearth, learning about geography through photography. The streaks of sunlight create dramatic highlight in various places, with nearby bushes becoming strong focal point. The bird is watching you, seemingly ignoring you, but fully aware (as you know, birds can only see sideways, never straight ahead).
