Photographer’s Note

City Hall of Płock, Old Market. City Hall was constructed in 1824-1827 and designed by Jakub Kubicki, one of the leading architects of classicism (creator of Belweder building in Warsaw). The City Hall housed the last session of the Polish Kingdom Parliament in 1831 (so called Uprising Parliament). From the very beginning the building was the seat of local authorities. After the complex modernization, completed in September 1998, the city hall became a modern, functional building, one of the city's tourist attractions.

Cadrage très soigné pour l'image de cette très belle architecture sous cette lumière.Le lampadaire du premier plan habille très bien la composition.

A good point of view on this interesting building. I like the view across the animated square with lamps that lead the viewer's eyes towards the building. Good light and colours.

Ladna, bardzo ladna kompozycja. Nie tylko ratusz, ktory jest w glebi, ale latarnie i kwiaty, a takze rynek. Swietna pogoda, swietne swiatlo i kolory.

Widzê, ¿e dzisiaj kolego Miko³aj przeniós³ siê do P³ocka. Te¿ ciekawie. Interesuj±cy budynek ratusza. To widzê s³oneczny czerwiec. Ciut mi tylko za ma³o ostro¶ci.

Fajowska perspektywa, ktora wyznacza rzad latarenek. Piekne kwiatki. Ladny ten rynek, zreszta to chyba kawal rynku, skoro zmiescil sie na nim az tak wielki ratusz. Ladne swiatelko.

Your composition is nice here showing the line of lamps that lead the eye to the main subject. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The architecture is great and you have presented it well.

Niech zyje Mazowsze, niech zyje Plock. Pieknie odnowiony rynek i ratusz, bylem tam pare lat temu (na meczy Legii z Petro) i widzialem, ze ten rynek byl wtedy w oplakanym stanie. Piekne kolory. Chwali sie!

Sliczne zdjecie, nie wiem dlaczego , mnie Plosck kojarzy sie z wycieczki szkolnej i Petrochemii :-)
Na Twoim zdjeciu prezentuje sie zupelnie inaczej.

this is a very fresh and clear shot.
this old city hall stands in comfortable air, square, trees with vivid red flowers, fountain and people. and the light is really in early summer, clear shadows and pale sky are also in it.
the sub-title may be "one fine day in June"...

The building has a very eye-catching, impressive and beautiful architecture!
The square in front of it looks pretty neat!
The photo has excellent management of light and sharpness! It's colorful and bright! I also like the composition, as you put this row of lamplights in the left side of the image! Those flowers look beautiful as well!

patrze na ten ratusz i widze, ze piekniejszy od tego w naszym miescie, gdyz mamy taki zastepczy po gimnazjum a oryginal zostal zniszczony na starowce w czasie wojny. Fajne swiatlo i kolory, te kwiaty dodaja uroku. Podoba mi sie.

as I can see in your gallery, you are fond of architectural photography as I am. Very clear and, let's say, fresh composition. The row of light lamps with the first in the foregroud gently drives the eye toward the "creamy" City Hall.
