Shelter on Ornak Hall

First, although a primitive shelter in the Valley tourism Ko¶cieliska was a big shepherd's hut on Polana Pyszna leased in 1909 by Ski Section of the Tatra Society from Management Goods of Count Zamoyski. It was rebuilt in the years 1910 -1911, in subsequent years the upgrading works were carried out several times. During World War II, the Soviet partisans and Tatra couriers gave shelter on the way to Hungary. Shelter was destroyed in 1945 during the fighting Germans with the guerrillas.

After the war, on the Little Ornaczañska Polana shelter was built, which still serves the tourists. It is a beautiful building, in the style of new zakopians, by project by Anne Gorska.. Shelter was officially opened by August 8, 1948.

cześć Józek, przyjemnie popatrzeć na schronisko tatrzańskie. Ech, chodziło siec kiedyś po górach, ale kiedy to bylo?? Ładne zimowe zdjęcie.

The sharpness and depth of the stone and timber hut is excellent. The contrast against the white background is heightened and appropriate. The variety of shades of brown - of the stone slabs and the timber roof, makes the photograph a polish in its texture.
There is warmth in the saturated colours which adds to the mood of the photograph..

Witasj Jozefie,
piekne kolejne schronisko. Wspaniale ujecie tego domu oraz w tle piekne osniezone gory. Podoba mi sie cegla ktora uzyto do scian oraz drewniana partia tego schroniska. Ma swoisty klimat ktory sprzyja szczegolnie na wakacjach zimowych czy letnich. Bardzo mi sie podoba. Super kompozycja. Brawo!!!

This small hut has much history enfolded, as you write Jozef. Interesting.
Fine scanned winter shot, good contrast to the wooden walls and on the roof-tiles.

Hello Josef,

Its a beautiful wooden house which serves as a shelter for the tourist in the snow clad hills.The Rock and wood combination gives a great look to the building with lots of nice warm colors.Hot Shot really.TFS.

orginelles Haus in den Bergen, könnte auch in den Alpen sein. Für einen Scan fom negativ wirklich eine gute Qualität!
