Photographer's Note

Eagle Path this is the most difficult trail in the Polish Tatras, very long and exceptionally exposed. In good weather, with proper care and adequate equipment the trail is safe, although it is difficult and guarantees emotions. In fog, rain or snow it can be very difficult and risky. The bedrock consist of granites, more frail rocks appear only on passes (mainly mylonites).

Since the opening of the trail , died in the more than 100 visitors

Hello Janusz,
Glad that you survived the hike!
The picture is composed of two parts: The difficult trail at the left and we can see clearly that in bad weather hiking this path can be risky. Then at the right we get an awesome view of the high Tatras mountains with their sharp peaks and some wonderful dark blue lakes.
A very impressive sight.

fascinating the panoramic view of the place with the lakes to are so well presented.I imagine how difficult is for someone to approach the place with all these difficulties you discribe in your note.

Witaj Janusz,

Taki widok jest dla mnie niedostępny, bo mam lęk wysokości i w Tatrach to mogęę chodzić tylko po zachodnich i to nie wszędzie. Fantastyczne zdjęcie, wspaniały widok na Pięć Stawów (?). Super ostrość, zdjecie jest prawie trójwymiarowe. Wspaniałe kolory.
