Photographer's Note

Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland.

Corpus Christi Basilica, located in Krakow district of Kazimierz, Poland; is a Gothic Church founded by Kazimierz the Great in 1335. The basilica was erected in stages beginning in 1340 until about the mid-15th century, and was intended as a monastery, which explains the large size plot on which it stands and the presence of a cemetery next to it.
In 1404 King Wladys³aw Jagiello had given it to the Canons Regular of the Lateran congregation brought in from Klodzko.

Krakow one wonderful city with different nice building and lovely churches.

Hello Tadeusz,

This is a good presentation of this impressive structure. The details stand well even under this white sky and a difficult light and POV is well done considering the walled in situation.

Bonjour Tadeusz,

Tu n'as vraiment pas profité d'une bonne lumière pour cette composition. On peine à voir les passants devant l'église et les détails sont dans l'ombre. Peut-être à une autre heure de la journée?

ładne zdjęcie gotyckiego kościoła. Dobry kadr i ostrość. Pogoda nie dopisała, więc kolory niezbyt zywe.
