Bonjour Aleksander,

Le panneau de circulation rouge vif prend beaucoup d'espace dans cette composition et je pense que c'était volontaire, comme pour mettre les choses à l'arrêt devant ce bel hôtel.

A lovely neat and lively scene offering a strong diagonal touch and the main interest with it delicacy. Widze ze zrobiles zdjecie ze schodow prowadzacych do kosciola sw.Jana. Ladnie pokazana bryla Hotelu Fancuskiego. Taki sam pozostal mi w pamieci sprzed 40 lat ten hotel, tylko inne samochody no i inny byl kolor ram okiennych na parterze, bardziej szary. Ladna praca

vcześć alek, Elegancki Hotel Francuski na Pijarskiej. I mają tam restaurację Gesslerowie? Ładnie przystrojone okna kwiatami.
Ja w takich hotelach sie nie zatrzymuje i nie jadam w takich restauracjach. Wystarczają mi skromniejsze hostele.

I like very much the perspective, depth and clarity of this capture that invites us into the street for a closer look at the lovely hotel. Seem just not easy to frame this magnificent building from a narrow street, clear to show a beautiful hotel that growing with colourful plants in front of every windows at upper floor, thanks for sharing an impressive street view that full with parking cars too.

I remember this building very well.
But obviously i didn't stay here :)
Personally, i really enjoy this style of architecture, its very elegant and sophisticated looking.
and it screams richness.
a good capture of the daily life in Cracow.

Hello Aleksander,

I looked at this image quite sometimes since it has been posted, and now I´ve decided to write my critique.

Even if it seems that I´m the only one here, the only one among all these praising critiques.

I would have chosen a "higher" angle. This would have caused that we could see
1.) the whole building, that means also the roof on the upper left side
2.) what is even more important it would have avoided at least the right row of cars, and it would have avoided - even more importantly - the red "no entry" sign which I find really distracting.

It´s a really beautiful building with a fine architecture, and for sure it is worth beiing photographed. So, thanks for sharing.
