Photographer's Note
Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula River in the Lesser Poland region, the city dates back to the 7th century. Kraków has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life and is one of Poland's most important economic hubs. It was the capital of Poland from 1038 to 1569; the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth from 1569 to 1596; the Grand Duchy of Kraków from 1846 to 1918; and Kraków Voivodeship from the 14th century to 1999. It is now the capital of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven (St. Mary's Church) is a Brick Gothic church re-built in the 14th century (originally built in the early 13th century), adjacent to the Main Market Square in Krako,it is particularly famous for its wooden altarpiece carved by Veit Stoss.

Ciao Robert
una vista classica di questa cattedrale, una composizione ben costruita e ben realizzata, mi piacciono i punti rossi creati dai vestiti delle persone.
Saluti

Hello Robert,
A fine composition of this interesting church with its irregular towers. The colourful crowd outside the church brighten the view. The light is very well handled and the sharpness is fine.

Gert

Hello Robert ,
An excellent view of this superb cathedral , with its two dissymetric towers , in a well chosen tall format . Fine contrast with the pretty cloudy sky .

Hi Robert
having just traveled to Poland, and spending 3 days in Krakow, i know this Open Square very well.
you have taken a wonderful photo with elegant lighting and clouds to compliment the entire scene.
having the man in the fg shows the tall height of the Cathedral, i like that.
A photo that provides a strong visual impact.
cheers
