After the first meeting in Warsaw, I went with my University friends to celebrate our 50th anniversary in Kazimierz Dolny. Again, it was fun. Kazimierz is very nice small town, unfortunately very turisty. But today it was last day of summer holiday, tomorrow children go to school, so it was not very bad.
Kazimierz Dolny ([kaˈʑimʲɛʂ ˈdɔlnɨ] Yiddish: קאזמיר Kuzmir) is a small town in Central Poland, on the right (eastern) bank of the Vistula river in Puławy County, Lublin Voivodeship. Historically it belongs to Lesser Poland, and in the past it used to be one of the most important cities of the province.
It is a considerable tourist attraction as one of the most beautifully situated little towns in Poland. It enjoyed its greatest prosperity in the 16th and the first half of the 17th century, due to the trade in grain conducted along the Vistula. It became an economic backwater after that trade declined, and this freeze in economic development enabled the town to preserve its Renaissance urban plan and appearance. Since the 19th century it has become a popular holiday destination, attracting artists and summer residents.
Kazimierz Dolny is an art center in Poland. Many painters retreat to this small town to paint and sell their work. Galleries can be found in almost every street, offering for sale sculptures, stained-glass, folk art, and fine art.
Tenement houses (early 17th century) on the Market Square.
I have a new small camera, it is the test.

A fascinating composition with this beautiful building, with a highly original and artistic facade, an image to be recreated in all its contents.
I like the lively atmosphere, with people and the exhibition of pictures outdoors.
An image with a splendid colorful, high brightness and perfect sharpness.
Happy start to the week.

These are tenements?? Wow, they are very different to the tenements my mum grew up in, these ones look like a mighty palace. That is the reason I love this website so much, learning about the world throu beautiful images, were it not for your post here, I would never have know of this beautiful city or these beautiful buildings.
I find it amazing that what at the time is considered an economic disaster can in the future lead to a whole new trade, in this case in tourism. Just go to show that we never know what the future may hold.a beautiful post, and a fascinating note, thank you as always.

The facade of the building is very elaborate and pretty. The artists and their work add a color variety to your work. Well seen and captured!
