Heavy Cottage Photo

Photographer’s Note

This cottage caught my eye based on its "heavy" look.
It is placed in Jotunheimen and I am not sure about the purpose - if it is for "overnight accommodations", but it looked very comfortable.

What a beautiful place to spend the night! But I think there are no windows and one could feel klostrophobic there:)

Hello Jan,

An excellent composition from an effective point of view!
The high summer colours are very attractive, and with impressive textures in the old log walls...
The intense blue mountain sky works well as background, the view is well framed by the birch!

A wonderful cottage , very well framed . I like a lot the grass on the roof , just in the cloud .

The architecture is great here! The angle of the shot works well giving the photo nice depth and a good sense of direction. The tree provides nice framing for the scene and the grass on the roof is great . The sky provides a nice backdrop for the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.
