The light at this time of day/night is extreme and therefore the contrast is impossible to master perfectly.
Here the time is some minutes passed 12 pm, and the sun is on its way up again over the horizon, and the light hence blanketing the mountain tops around, is just the image of a renaissance painter's painting; and to copy it with photographic instruments, is close to impossibe; there needs to be a painter to get the same colours |
