Photographer’s Note
I was attending a local festivity last weekend, and to tell the truth it was my first visit to this place for quite a long time.
As I came down to this location I was quite astonished to see the new apartments.
Previously this location was occupied some worn down red buildings previously used by the fishing industry, and to tell the truth they were ruining the the impression of this place that treasures its old style of construction.
Actually I belive the location is protected against newer fancier construction.
So having new apartments built in this style was a real refresher for the area. In addition they lengthened the area at which the old buildings occupied. So needless to say this area has recieved a great facelift!
The photo was taken with my EOS 40D using a polarizer.
Shot as a series of photos using the exposure bracketing function of the camera. Merged using the PSCS3 "merge to HDR" function.

I am liking the dynamic range of this one Odd, especially in the boardwalk on the lower right. It's a very pleasing composition and pulls you into the picture, then pushes you out again because other than the lit buildings in the BG, there is no real subject. Interesting, well done. Regards, TW
