hi Alexander,
I like a lot this moody shot, especially how the lines of the bench mirror the strong lines of the lake shore. I find that B&W and extra grain makes this calm scene more intresting and emphasises the different textures of the water, clouds, the distant mountains, I definitely like it.

Hello Alexander,
A very good black and white composition with lots of atmosphere. The conversion is excellent with a wide range of tones and very good clarity. I like the shimmering waters of the fjord and the cloud sewn sky.

Hallo Alexander,
Cliche of niet, ik mag hem wel zien. Zwaar aangezet in ZW wat het een mystiek en rustiek beeld geeft. Die lamp onderin had ik waarschijnlijk verwijderd, hoort mijn inziens niet echt in het beeld thuis. Maar verder een sterke foto die erg goed overkomt.

what a view... and what a shot... may be someone sitting there, or even a couple, watching the fjord could have looked good but still a very nice shot in B&W... have a good weekend alexander...

ok, it's raining here now, so it's easy for me to imagine a quiet, warm (well by Norwegian standards) summer evening :)) yeah. i'm right there with ya, bubddy, on that bench, shivering... sharing stories about trolls, sea monsters (see his eye by the railing?) and the old good times of the vikings ;)) a good addition to the eternal TE bench theme.

Hi Alexander,
I can imagine very well...and I like very very much your b/w treatment. With a human presence it would have been more interesting, but already as such the mood is great, a tad melancholic, the light beautiful, the compo impeccable. The grain adds to the overall feeling. Very good work.

When I look at Fjord pictures, I always see views taken at the horizon. No matter how pretty they can be with the sky, and the fjord, they look like postacards on sale everywhere. But this one is different, excellent idea to include the bench and to convert it to BW. Amazing result - Congratulations - Izzet

I agree with you, cliches also have a place at TE and I'm proud myself with some of my cliche shot in my own gallery. So, don't apologize but just post it and let us savour it. The scene is calm and inpires anyone to have a seat and enjoy the "warm" skandinavian summer with these gorgeous landscape partially covered with clouds. Did you add the noise or is that a result of the shot itself?
