Photographer’s Note
Another scanned pic which I tried to improve so that something of the original charm might survive. The scaned image was really bad...
For info about Bergen see my other photo "Arboretum".
Mount Ulriken is a hill at the back of Bergen. It's worth while to walk up there for the panorama you can enjoy is fantastic. Here you see an example.

Hey Donato, havent seen your new photos, since I havent been around for a while.
A great town, and a great photo, hope to visit it some day. A fine perspective and POV, very soft colors, and a lovely vista. Its actually fine for a scanned image, and its quite romantic with its old-y ambient. :)
See you around.

Ciao

Very nice point of view, with the landscape developping behind this upper lake. Going back to Berge in Three weeks now, I have to try to go and see this place if you give me more details.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Hi Donato,
Looks like a very special place for this charming little cottage to sit.
What spectualar view to reward one for the steep climb to this marvelous perch.

Hi, Donato,
I've had the privilege to visit Denmark (extensively) and also Finland and Sweden, but never Norway. A pity!
Yes, the far field in this scanned image doesn't have much clarity and that is regrettable. Nevertheless, you do convey well how high is this mountainside perch.
It is difficult to believe that so much water can be held here because the little bit of land holding back the water at the right edge of the frame appears very fragile.
I like colors and textures of the grasses and the rippled surface of the lake water.
I've tried my hand at some further postprocessing and have posted the results in a workshop for your consideration.
Regards,
- William
