Photographer’s Note

In the end of the day
A summer farm is inhabited from June to September. Shephards and their household animals come up from the valley to stay through the summer.
In the winter the farm is left alone under the cover of the snow where the bleach sun only remotely reminds us of of the warm and green summer days.

Hi Jack!
You have a really fine serie of pictures from this area!
This is not an exception - all the elements are in good positions here to make a fine compostion. The inclusion of the FG fence making a diagonal is good. Attractive colors, fine balance between light on sky and snow.

Hi jack. Superb light. Lovely composition with its elevated PoV. I like the contrast between the areas lit by the setting sun and those in shadow. Also the fence looks delicate as it creates a nice triangle in the corner. regards. Klaudio.

I find the light beside the barn very nice.
You play here wonderful with light and shadows, this gives a excellent composition.

Hi, Jack. I like the contrast between the orange glow on the snow and the bleu grey colour of the same snow in the foreground, which conveys an impression of cold. You've used the diagonla line of the fence very well to compose your image and put the barn in the foreground on a very good palce to link it with the other barn on the right of the picture.
