Blowing in the wind
Maybe a good thing with just a small report of just another normal winter of the far north.
As here a motif from the day after some wind and snow where the snow have almost wrapped in part of the old cottage.
BTW: This is a day of sun just between some low pressures with gale wind and snow day after day...
..before finally in the end of that week we had to leave as the roads all over the mountains was closed by snow.

Some tech things: Snow can be difficult to shoot. Early in the morning or late afternoon can be a wise choice to have reflex from the snow and structure by the shadows. Combine with a little underexposure and/or use of ND filter.

Hi Jack,
What a wonderfull scene ! Perfect pov and wonderfull compo. Read color of the barn builds a perfect contrast with the dark blue sky. Very good light management as well.

On a l'impression que la toiture de cette petite maison s'est écroulée sous le poids de la neige !! La lumière est très bonne sur la neige ! Cela donne une teinte très chaude à la neige !
La façade rouge est bien vue !

Hi Jack,
Excellent shot! The light management is perfect and the POV is extremely well chosen. The colors are glorious! Here in Luxemburg we had a storm low early this week with hail, rain and thunderstorm. A lot of damage and floodings in the valleys. Today we have sunshine and 9° C.

Very well done, Jack, besides the fantastic golden light on the snow, there is this poisonous RED colour of the house... thanks for reminding me how the REAL winter should look like...
