View from Rondehauen Photo

Photographer’s Note

This viewpoint at Rondehauen (480 m) is a popular walk among the locals from Sauda. The boxes at the pine contains a notebook to write your name, a pair of reading-glasses and binoculars to take a closer look at the view.
The distant mountain is one of the highest in the district, Skaulen (1538 m).

Hello Jon,
Very nice & scenic photo. I like the colors & lighting on the tree. Very thoughtful of those to place those items in the box. My main worry is for a hiker to walk away with the binocular. Best regards. Latiff.

The view from this spot is beautiful. The mountains in the background seem high and create a nice line in the horizon. Interesting how the boxes provide essential elements for people to have a better experience to enjoy the views. Good perspective and colours. Thanks.

I have no idea why they place the ugly boxes where they do, but they sure do no good for the view!!
Otherwise pleasant, good colours in the fine sunlight...
Well done on composition, the pine tree could make a fine frame, but...

Hello Jon,
This tree and its branches seem to indicate where we have to look.
Oonly the top of the mountain and the tree are in illuminated by the sun and it offers nice contrasts.

the tree in warm sunlight produces a very special mood in the winter landscape. By the way, I am envious of these boxes: in our region the binoculars would disappear on the same day they were placed there.

Well composed and good pov. I like the warm light falling on the tree and FG, and some part of BG.
