[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Stalheim Norway is one of the most photographed areas in the country. The deep valley and dramatic mountains make this a favorite place for photographers. When I travel to this area, I take a train from Oslo to Finse, then a tram to Flåm, taxi to Aurland...from Aurland take the boat to Gudvangen. The trip is the most fantastic in the world.

Roger,
This is a nice view from the Stalheim hotel. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF. Your composition is great including the table with chairs and the view of the valley. I have also posted a couple of shot from the Stalheim hotel hope you like them Stalheim hotel & view of the Naeroy valley.

Hi Roger.
You have managed to find a superb DOF for this simple but beautiful composition. he picture is really "refreshing".
Thanks for sharing!

Hello Roger,
Pleasant composition with good details!
And I know what's behind that stone wall...
Quite a viewpoint to the wild nature, snow is melting and creating a nice waterfall in the distance!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Roger, this looks like a place wher a long lazy lunch or dinner would be a fine thing. In some ways it looks a lot like Yosemite I think. The colors of the shot make me think it is cool and comfortable and the waterdall in the bg seems awesome. I like yout rule number 7 in your intro, that has bit me more than once.

Greg

Hi Roger,

An excellent view - unusual insofar as you've placed a slight element of domesticity into what is otherwise a breathtaking vista.

Beautiful colours and tones. A dream of a shot. Best wishes, Paul.
