Norway is my favorite place to take pictures. The fjords in the west are steep with great colors. This is Aurland on the Sognefjord. The colors have not been altered. The shot was taken at about 7pm.
The picture was cropped to bring out the height of the scene. |

Hi Roger,
Nice nice landscape and colors.

Hi Roger,
What a beautiful picture, I just love the colors! I've always wanted to go to Norway, and almost had the chance the end of this month with my friend and her husband, who is from Norway. But I must work instead, hopefully I will have the opportunity to go with them another time! Your picture definitely makes me want to go now! Thank you for sharing!
Kind Regards,
Liz
Hello Roger,
I like the perspective and the fjord in the diagonal!
Awesome colours with the different shades of blue merging with the different shades of green...
The snow capped mountains and the ferry make the picture complete!
Greetings,
Pablo -
Great POV and perspective!
Excellent depth created through the 'snaking' fjord and the ship in the foreground adds persperctive.

I can't believe this only has 8 points (10 now). It is a wonderfully dramatic landscape shot that has many things going for it. I like the gentle curves of the lake contrasting with the harder lines of the mountains. Great composition.

hello Roger, magic place. I was travelling through norway fjords and remember those views very well. nice, that you catched several surfaces of the landscape: hills, water and green fields.. maybe it'd be useful to show more green at the bottom, but understand, that the lens could not catch everything. greets
