[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was done using a color image on the background layer and a black and white image in layer one. The black and white image was converted using the channel mixer and adjusting the percentages for the channels as well as contrast and exposure. The black and white layer was then reduced in opacity to let through faint colors.

Beautiful technical work .. it really adds to the stark and vast feeling of the place.
Love the near framing mountains .. the depth .. the tone of the water is especially effective. You have given me something to try.
