**********

In some places it's easy to feel the immensity. This is, undoubtedly, one of them. It's a small village, in the way from Eidsdal to Geiranger, approximately 800 m. high. There is a lake which waters were really a mirror with some of ice in ist surface. The ice explain this unusual reflection, a little bit opaque in the ice, crystalline in the liquid water, which reinforces the majestic sensation of this peak. Will they feel this immensity in the same way those who live in this house?

Hi Angel,
very impressive place and picture indeed, the water looks like a perfect mirror, you could even reverse the picture. It seems to be a very remote place, at the foot of these threatening cliffs.

TFS,
Jérôme

An impressive shot Angel, presenting it in portrait works really well, the impact of those slopes comes over to the viewer.
The colours add to the effect with the wonderful reflection, which looks as if someone has painted it on.
I cannot imagine living in that little house.
TFS, regards Jean.

hey Angel,
what can I say. impressive reflection!
maybe you could crop that mountain a little bit, and leave only reflected part with its real counterpart?

very good work.

Great use of the reflection to create an interesting pattern. The snow patches appear to be converging from the top and bottom, and give this almost the appearance of being in motion, which is very unusual for a landscape photo. Well done!

Hi Angel,
This is one amazing landscape photo, good use of the vertical format with the reflections proving to be the key.

Hi Angel,

Wow. The sense of smallness in a vast universe is breathtaking with those small houses against the endless cliff ... the reflection is almost disorienting .. wondrous is not a good enough word .. but the best one I have.

take care,

John

Angel, it was a while that I didn't go through your collection and I have to admit that you got some outstanding posts from Norway. I'm amazed of the beauty of that very impressive landscape. I'm sure that the people that live in this village feels the immensity very well. Certainly at least when they leave the place to go where they aren't surrounded by such mountains. They will start to feel that something is missing and start to have a floating feeling. For sure! Nice tight framing to enhance the power of the mountain in the back.

Hola Angel
Difficult to choose from your gallery of impressive photographs! This one grabbed attention because of the symmetry. This fits in the vertical compo. like a T. Good framing by the hanging branches. There appears to be a small problem with compression especially in the reflection part. But this is a wonderful photograph Angel.

Angshu
