[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken from high above the Sognfjord a tiny ferry plies its way from Kaupanger to Revsnes.

The photo was taken in Easter 1977 on an old Praktica camera as a slide. Other than some noise reduction there has been no changes to the colour.

What I like about the place is the serene moods of nature, the purity of the location and the relationship between mountain and sea

Hi Chris,

Wonderful photo. The colors and composition are very beautiful. It does seem to lack some sharpness, but that is probably due to being old picture with the noise reduction. What a beautiful landscape, the boat is the finishing touch, great job! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Chris,
I wonder that altough this photo was taken years ago it seems to be as it is taken yesterday. Technology provides us better tools. Well...I wish to give you my appreciation for this wonderful shot!
Regards my friend

Hello Chris

Pure national romantic scene... from back when I still was only a distant thought in my parents minds...
The composition and POV here is simple but very, very effective.
Noise reduction seems to have worked in your favour, a pity realy that the background looks so faded.
None the less, surprizingly good quality for a photo taken back in 1977.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Chris!

Yeah, slides is a wonderful medium... A simple picture and though a bit overly soft, the picture shows the serenity you are talking about.

Greetings, Dennis
