Sunset flyfishing Photo

Photographer’s Note

Flyfishing in the ocean is not very usual. This one was taken at the end of summer on a beach called Vigdel, about 15 km west of Sandnes. I had just been scuba diving and was leaving the beach when he turned up. I asked for his permission and put some distance between him and me to get the right proportions. The lighting here is very difficult; I want to keep the calm atmosphere, and the mystic radiance of approaching night. I shoot with bracketing to get alternative lightings. BKT - bracketing is phenomenal for difficult lighting situations.In this case I was fortunate; anglers are very patient persons and this one gave me lots of time to get the line against the sun.
