[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on the pier at Flam harbor in Norway. We were facing west from the Flam railway station. The ship is Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Sea. Flåm is situated in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the 204 kilometres long and up to 1308 metres deep Sognefjord.
Surrounded by steep mountainsides, roaring waterfalls and deep valleys, flam is the starting place for many nature based adventures.

Big shot, the ship looks to be in the 'land'! Good job!

Hello Asa,
This is a good point of view on this fine ship!
I like inclusion of life in the harbour, which contrasts and supplements the vessel very well...
Well framed scenery, good natural colours and sharp fine details!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Asa

An excellent use of avaliable scenery and elements to create a nice composition.
The simple scenery visible in this photo is just stunning and it really creates a perfect setting for this large cruise ship.
There seems to be some digital noise in your photo, in this case it is visible especially in the background and in the buildings to the left.
Thank you for sharing.

Hello Asa,
Having just posted a pair of images of the awe-inspiring waterfalls in Flam, I came across this image you posted just a few days ago. It's a photo of a wonderful dock I came to know quite well, but never photographed. I like your description of the "roaring waters," indeed my image appears to complement yors. Thanks for posting a view of the dock where one boards that train to the most surrealistic sites in the world. I also see that your lineage in Norwegian -- you must have been visiting the site of your roots.

Regards from Virginia,
Bulent
