The view of the western coast of islands. Several km later we have passed the undersea tunnel on the way from Leknes to the southern end of the Lofoten (Moskeness, A, etc.), we have turn right from E10 to local road leading us to the village near the bottom of the mountain (seen on picture). There is the real glassmaking workshop in this village. You can not only to buy interesting things from colour glass, but also to look at the process how it is made. Honestly, the things in the shop look as they are made by vikings and for vikinkgs - crude & massive. So if You preffer Swarowsky or Venice glassware, You'll nothing to buy there. But it's worth to see this workshop, because it combine old-fashion technology and modern desigh of the building - glass walls (windows form bottom to roof supported by wooden pillars) with beatiful view on village and sea. An also it was very pleasant after several hours on chill wind to spent half-hour near the hot kiln.
Why I have put in the name "Postcard"? Later our group met again in the sauna to share the impressions and photos form the trip. We have conducted several photo contests, and this picture has won in genre "The best postcard form Norway". Later on I'll post picture that took the 3rd place in genre "Living on Wheels, sleeping in tents" to get feeling how to surrvive behind polar circle in limited tourist facilities.
Now, enjoy the view!

Hi Jurijs
Very nice landscape. Perhaps you should frame it using more the 3 third rules.
Cheers

Hi Jurijs. You have created a wonderful postcard indeed. I love the colour and atmosphere you have captured. A beautiful scene with good notes to accompany. You have an artistic eye.
