The white snow in the background is a glacier. It’s called “Svartisen” and is Norway’s second biggest glacier. It is 375 square kilometres. Her is another picture of the glacier.

Très joli coin, Reidar,
et photographier avec le bon sens de lui garder tout son aspect naturel.
Trsè jolies lumières et couleurs, un cadrage et un POV bien étudiés.
Un endroit qu'on a envie follement de visiter maintenant.

A wonderful view into this glacial valley. I like the natural colours very much. The paths give a very impressive depth inti your picture. A few years ago I saw Svartisen from a ship of Hurtigruta...
