Gardermoen, the national airport of Norway.
Misplaced and WAAAAY over budget.
Oslo lufthavn, Gardermoen (OSL) , is situated some 50 km north of the capitol, Oslo.
The airport wasput into use on October 8th 1998.
The total price for the entire airport and all supporting buildings and features had a total price of several billion NOK.
In addition this airport is cursed with fog and bad weather, some even speculate if the choosing of the site was a rigged decision.
Anyway.
The controltower you see here is the main controltower at OSL, it is some 100m meters tall and thereby also the tallest controltower in Norway.
Photo has been slightly cropped to remore some disurbing features.

Hei O.J.
Nice photo, I like the composition. The people working in that tower have one of the most relaxed jobs in the world. And the view is great from up there. It's not a place to visit if you are affraid of hights. I think you captured the building very nicely and the roofs of the other buildings really highlight the hight it the tower. Nice work. TFS.

Hello my friend Odd!
I have been extremely busy for about a month, and unable to comment the pictures of my friends nor to post many of mine. I am a little less busy now and I'll try to catch up with my friends postings one at a time. Today, I'll comment your recent pictures since I got busy. You'll see a critic in almost every pic posted since this one.
:)
From the information you give, I notice this is a scanned picture. So, I guess the grain is a result of the scan process.
I find this tower too lonely in this shot. Too centered, too tall... I guess you could have a better angle if you tilt the picture about 15° to the right, in order to make the composition "move". What do you think?
