Photographer’s Note
I had to admit that this one is a little hard to explain inenglish, but I will try.
In Norway we got at least three different kind of Santa Claus. The most traditional is the "Fjøsnisse" ("barlow Santa Claus"). That one use more traditional clothes and living in the barlows. Aorund Christmas the farmers go out to the barlows and give them "rice pudding" (Thank you Kaj Nordström)
We also have the American Santa Claus that comes with gift to the kind children.
Lately we have got known to a third one, "blånissen" (The blue Santa Claus). They first got very popular through a TV-program for children that first were shown during advent 1999. They are living inside the mountains, and only come out when it's getting dark, called the blue hour. They are making the blue tones, that we sometimes can see in the winther evening, before it get totally dark by blueberry and other speciall secret stuff.
Their colors are often different tones of blue, sometimes too violett and green. And very typival is that they have red hair.
Both among the "fjøsnisse" and "blånisse" you find women and men. This one is a female, if anybody doubt it.

Interesting story about this blue Santa. And as I can see it would be a female Santa. I like the pic, your Santa looks like an elfin. Nicely placed in the photo

Nice Santa Claus. He is as good in blue that in red. The branchs with the snow make some gap and contrast in the colours of the back. Good job.
