Photographer’s Note
I took this from the Southern end of Lovatnet, the lake just above Loen.
It was a very hot day so I felt a little sorry for the people cooped up in the boat, though it looked like most of them had managed to stand outside.
The water really is that colour, this is because the water is from melting glaciers which pick up particles of rock as they move along. The particles are then suspended in the water giving it this rather striking colour in the summer.
The end of the Kjenndalsbreen glacier is only a few kilometers from here, it's well worth seeing.

Have been there (along Lovatnet) my self during a hot summer. Since we don't have clacier from the place I come from, this color of the water really facinated me. Did try to take some photos myself, but it's very hard to get the same expression that it really is... and as your photo, all the background get very blure. Might a little overexposed. Might a smaler F-Stop could help? (f/8? Don't know, just sugesting) But I like your compostion and it is a photo that discribe what you can see when travell in the western part of Norway, so well done!
