Your girlfriend had a good idea. What a pretty colour in the perfectly still water. So warm compared to the cold, dark snow around it. It's interesting to see the Bodo region in winter as I've only seen it in summer - once spent midsummer on Sorarnoy.

This photo seems very poetic with the only colour in the photo being that of the sky being reflected in the water ... except for this reflection the photo seems almost monochromatic ... very nice capture ..

Wht a captivating picture .. the reflection of the sky reddened by the rising sun on the river makes it look like a river with molten lava. And against the banks covered with snow it make a stark contrast.. thx for the pic ..

what a great shot here of a peaceful winter atmosphere! Very good depth, perfect focus and excellent play with lights. The bright sky with the warm colours is fabulously reflected in the still water of the partially frozen river and is in a perfect contrast with the snowy landscape. Very well done!
