Photographer’s Note
A weather-beaten old bench in the outskirts of a cemetery, waiting for someone to come to contemplate life… the past, and what comes after?
Graveyards are such fascinating places in the sense there are so many untold stories… Walking around looking at the tombstones really puts my imagination to work! In your thoughts you can add flavour to lives gone by, the persons concerned don’t mind anyway…

Hi Pablo,
A nice crisp shot of this simple scene. The lighting is very well managed, so are the colours. I particularly like the worn out colours of the bench. Lovely shot!! Regards.

Nice shot. Looks lonely, but then it's next to a cemetary, so I guess that is natural.

A lovely scene made poignant by the sight of an empty bench that had seen its better days. Good composition and lighting- everything came out in its natural color although the grass' color beneath the bench seemed needs improvement but this do not diminish the great appeal of this photo.

pablo,
good composition.
color could be better but this washed out color scheme on the bench gives it the character.
lonely yet poignant feeling.
well done !!

Ola Pablo,
You've captured wonderful detail and color in this well-framed compo; I like the way the the texture of the bench seems to be repeated in the tree bark. like Mugush, I find your note adds depth to your compo.

Old solid bench - cast iron. We can sit on it, we can lean on it, we can lie on it, we can stand on it - it will bear everything... It's like a heritage...
Thanks, Pablo!

Hi Pablo,
Beautiful old bench against this well worn stone wall. I have a very similar if not identical bench in a photo from Maine. I will post tomorrow so we can compare.

Hi Pablo,
This old and beautiful bench was really well worth to capture. Like in later pictures you have made the very best use of lighting conditions here. Also a very nice POV and composition with the stone and birch tree in the background. Have a nice week-end!
Cheers,
Ulf

Olá Pablo, good note for this empty bench. I couldn't agree with you more about the atmosphere on a cemetery that makes our imagination to work. I became a fan of people with TE, but I agree that this empty bench works better for the message you wrote. Good shot and composition, although I might prefer to see the whole bench.

Nice composition using the small wall and the gravestones in the cormer. The bench itself is interrsting for its very old fashioned style, especially the back with this woven-like pattern.
All the best,
Emmanuel
