A Scandinavian Boeing 737 docked at Oslo Gardemoen Airport a late winter evening. While the last passengers are leaving and the luggage guy are getting their luggage a mechanic is already checking the engine for the next flight, the last one for today.
The spring is coming close and the sky still has some light even if this is about 9 pm. |

WOW such amamzing sharpness and great lighting. The atmosphere of this photo is almost strangely sterile.
The greeenish tone is wonderful, and this photo gives me the feeling of sitting in the terminal looking out, waiting for hours during layovers between planes.
Beautiful.
Nice night view of this aircraft. I like the neat even in hte dark. Colours are real.
Well done Ebbe.
Very good - the little bit of blur where people are moving (passengers levaing & the baggage loader) adds dynamics into this picture. And it's clear & very sharp.

Didn't you have one like this from Sturup, Ebbe? Or is it just my overworked eyes, that have seen one too many aircraft? :) Anyhow, this is well done considering the late hour - very well rendered - and the artificial mercury lights, creating that special 'working night mood'. The composition is fine with the red engine corresponding to the mechanic's car in the same color and the blue fin pointing into the faint light of the sky. Very well done.
The white light above the horizon, is that an approaching aircraft? In that case - excellent timing!
Hi Ebbe, a very nice low light pic this is, with fascinating colour contrasts and a perfect definition - clean and crisp. And as Peter says, the motion blurred people add a nice dash of dynamism to the compo.
The head on asymm aprouch is very well advised here. Great job. Regards from Rotterdam, Bert.
