Communication mast and heli landing, a photo from Oslo, South

Photographer's Note

Here we are on the top deck of the superferry MS Color Fantasy. 60 m high, 15 decks up. Lots of place to stroll around - that is if not all the 2.750 passengers are here at the same time.

The big 'ball' with lots of communication gears inside. The colourful logo not only for decoration, but also to be visible from air, and of course space enough here even for some heli landing.

I think this particular ferry line between Kiel and Oslo started in 1961, while our other 'main route' out of oslo to Copenhagen started out almost 140 years ago.

Very graphic and colourful work. I like the blue tones in the sky and on the floor, but also the other colour on the floor. Nice composed with the people on the background and the nature/mountains.

Interesting on-board view for your series, Jack. The distinctively-shaped communication mast and the heli landing area are well embedded in the framing you made - and it's also good to have the folks on board included, and to have the coastal scenery show up in the back. Well captured.

Hi Jack,
I like the artificial wide angle effect created by tge stitch. The different shapes and colors gives this an abstract, graphical quality. Strong sunlight is an excellent setting for this scene. Good use of the empty space in the composition too.

Another good one from your reportage series about this ferry-line!Good compo with nice lines in it,the logo on the floor repeats the lines of the communicetion mast,-I like the colors very much.
