Photographer’s Note

As the time closed in yesterday to 17:02 (18:02 local time), I just arrived in the little village Aurdal.

So I stopped the car to make a shot of the white village church. And at 18:02 I took this shot. As I turned around I fronted the fine farm presented yesterday. So of course I made a shot also of the farm.

Lucky me I guess with two fine motives within the time window of 1 minute..

Jolie photo jack, avec une luminosité agréable. J'aime beaucoup aussi la couleurs des nuages qui ne sont pas totalement gris.

Great picture, great peaceful winter atmosphere. Nice shot of the village church with very good colors. The evening sky is contrasting very well with the walls of the church and the snow in the foreground.

Well, indeed a grand job with the timing Jack to be at Aurdal by 18:02 and be surrounded by two such photogenic sceneries. I like the low light setting and the covered sky in this one, it gives a wonderful kind of glow to the church emerging from the snowy landscape. A lovely and peaceful photo.

Very beautiful composition, with the church on the right side. The light is very amazing, and the colour of the sky is a perfect background for this landscape. The snow on the street helps to add more luminosity to the view.

It's beautiful, Jack. I like the fact that the curch shares the same colors with the environment, it looks almost like a b/w shot, where the only colors are in the sky. Excellent exposure, despite the late hour.

This alternative is excellent and what I like more is the contrast that gives a better idea of the hour tight to the sun going.

You've managed to capture a really great light for this well balanced composition. The picture is very sharp and the DOF is good. The architecture of the building is very interesting and unusual for Southern Europe people.

Wow, I like this one very much.

Magnificent image Jack. The combination of the blue tones with the slightly warmer sky creates a delicate atmosphere and a great mood in this one. Also a well balanced image with a good placement of the church in the composition.
