The old houses of Bryggen, in Bergen, Norway.
this group of ancient commercial buildings is on the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites.

Excellent selection of very singular houses to build up your composition.
It's clustered and that's the whole idea, to feel the proximity, the promiscuity. Colors are a big part of their uniqueness. Excellent!

Un plan serré sur ces toits qui crée une très bonne image graphique.

Very good composition focusing on the pieces of roofs to build this photo with triangles. Very good choice of point of view: the look made the picture.

The composition of your photo creates a wonderful graphic effect which is even emphasized by the strong colours. A fascinating photo - even in the small version. Bryggen is a real worth-visiting and worth-showing place.
Greetings from Germany!

Good close up to illustrate the theme "colours" with a great DOF and a good graphism with all the diagonal and horizontal lines.

Une belle image de ces maisons colorées. L'image serrée nous permet de voir les détails des toits.
C'est du bon travail.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

A nice capture from an original point of view that concentrates on the play of lines and colours of the rooftops, a pleasure to look at.

Colourful triangles of northern architecture. I love the close framing here. Tfs.

The colours and the roof angles are clearly the main features in this very attractive picture. I like the cropping here and your POV. An outstanding image!

Excellent choice of tight framing. Great graphic from the houses roof. It looks like the green roof is the one giving this picture color party with the others.
Creative and indeed different!

The same place, but a different pov, composition and quite eye-catching visual results! It was a great and original idea and the photograph is pretty attractive, presenting those unique details of that norwegian city!
TFS - congratulations!

love the angles, lines, triangles, mixture of colours and lighting.

Surely an unusual view but works wonderful for this image. Pretty and strong colors.

a superb geometric abstract which indeed adds a new perspective to this site. The contrast between the roofs and the wooden walls is also intriguing and delicate. Bravo, bravo

You have some fine captures from my city in your collection. I think you`ve done a great job in finding new and interesting views and angles, and this picture is a good example of just that. So many interesting details. Composition-wise it is clever executed with the architectural shapes of the old houses at Bryggen running in a fine diagonal over the frame. Your selected vantage point also offers very good depth of field. When it comes to colours it is dominated by many different nuances of red, but with a few unpainted or yellow exceptions, and of course the different shades of the pantiles. A great picture and a well thought composition. Excellent work:) Have a nice weekend.
Best regards, Erling
