Photographer’s Note

We travelled along Lofoten in July and if you wish to experience relax, rest and peacefulness that's the most magical part of Norway.
Lofoten is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. Though lying within the Arctic Circle, the archipelago experiences one of the world's largest elevated temperature anomalies relative to its high latitude.
I've been there several times and anytime I was there it was around 20 - 24 degrees:)
I miss Lofoten so much that I decided to dig in my drawer and enjoy the views...

Hi Gosia,
Your affection for this part of the world is quite obvious. This capture shows us all the strong and attractive colours here. In fact, I can see some similarities with the Swedish west coast, the naked rocks and the red boat houses. A very likeable photo!

Hi Gosia,

I like the strong vertical lines of your photo. The deep colours of water and houses are also great. It can be above 20 degrees in Lofoten!?!?!? Wow!

Bardzo mi sie Lofoty z Twoich zdjec podobaja, ale mysle sobie ze majac polnoc na codzien podaruje sobie wyjazd na polnoc. Twoje zdjecia wystarczaja mi w zupelnosci -po prostu nie sadze zebym mogl zrobic lepsze i dlatego tam nie jade...

Ech, piekne skandynawskie swiatlo... to pierwsza mysl jaka sie pojawia, gdy patrze na to zdjecie. Podoba mi sie ten kadr no i oczywiscie nasycone kolory.

what a lovely harbor scene! :-) it all looks so quiet and calm. excellent composition with wonderful
details, love the (typical) red houses and the boats and how the quai in front parallels the one in the back and the horizon. well done & best wishes, thor.
