Room for Silence...
Hearing nothing but your body; your joints squeeking, thumps of the heartbeat, being forced to deal with your own thoughts...
I guess I have to feel lucky by having this opportunity to explore myself inside this silence, breath the nature and feel true freedom...!

Yes, my friend, feel lucky and blessed to have surroundings like this. If I compare your situation to mine, in the Netherlands, there is hardly a spot, where there is NO noise, and lgihts, because of the greenhouse with flowers, are really everywhere. And I think that is the lousiets thing, it's never completely dark!
Very nice and dreamy picture, Terje, very nice composition with your wide angle lens.

Hi, smael, for me i can almost hear the silence. Even without your note, we could feel and share what you are seizing up, seeing in the distance, but not looking at anything, meditative, but not absorbed in thoughts, Time as still as the landscape....

Haa... ever considered cloning or cropping out the branches at the bottom?

I suppose that's what quietness would be like... dunno myself, never had that feeling, even though I lived in pretty remote places, they were populated with the sounds of either squinting or buzzing animals, even a splashing wave on a coral reef... I would really feel alone having to care about the less interesting person in the world (ie. me :D...) and a never changing landscape.

Perhaps I would start a sleeping contest...If I don't finish this comment in 15 seconds I think I'm going to fall asleep...

WA converter doesn't do any good to the pic details, specially in the corners, that's why I think that...RRrrZZzzzzz..
