Photographer’s Note
When summer comes and winter seems to have passed long by the ski-lifts in the summer ski resorts emerge from under the snow. This year Stryn, in the north-western part of Jotunheimen, had their opening in the last weekend of May. The most eager skiers took the lift and climed another hour by foot to get to the very top of the mountain.
I think this picture catches some of the anticipation of the fellow skiers as the first man drops off the 4-5 metre snow dune and starts his very first descent of the summer season.

Very nice picture it gives a feeling of freedom and it isn't every day that kind of wheather in the mountains!
