Photographer’s Note
We are now the day before the arrival in Kristiansand, the home port of the Sorlandet. It is time to prepare for the different devices which have been stored since the departure from Brest and will be needed tomorrow, such as the mooring lines and here the fenders, which need a bit of washing after remaining below the focusle for two weeks. Not a very pleasant job, but I like this colorfull Norvegian jumper.

Hello Emmanuel,
Most of us probably never thought about how much work there actually is to be done on boars a sailing vessel, your series is a good documentary to enlighten us!
Sharp fine details with a good sense of depth, the tilted horizon is just like it shall be on board...
Greetings,

Bonjour Emmanuel,
il y a de la vie sur le pont, on a toujours à faire sur un tel bateau.
Enfin une vue qui donne moins le vertige.
L'horizon penché donne bien l'impression de ce balancement du voiler.
Amicalement.
Daniel.
