Photographer’s Note
On board Sorlandet, the curve of the foresail above the front bell located on the foredeck. Since they used to maintain the old traditons on the ship at that time, this bell was used by the look out to signal anything, and to answer to the officer of the watch that he was still present, when the diffrent parts of a watch were ringed.
As you can see, the weather was still fine that day, and there was plenty of wind in the sails. On the right, the strange tube is the end of a ventilator. Next to it, also painted yellow-cream, the tail and ring of the spare anchor.

Hi Emmanuel,
Great shot. Excellent sharp details with well exposed colours. Good lighting and well composed. Very well done and TFS.

Another interesting and beautiful composition. Good colours and light, good POV. Perhaps it would have been better to take the whole person lying. The curve of the sail gives the sense of power and moviment.
Compliments,
Donato

Yes, I can see the weather was good because of that person having a sunbath on the deck! The composition is excellent with the sail occupying 2/3 of the frame. Well done.
Antonio
