Photographer’s Note

Still from Rasvåg, I would like to share another picture. With this I just wanted to show how nice and peaceful I was on at this place and how I would fancy having a cabin for the holidays at such a perfect spot as these guys have managed. They got the entire small island for them selves. You'll need a boat or great sling to get over;)

Talk about private island...
Very good composition, the centering of the image gets my attention here.
The reflection in the water just adds to my interest, the way the blurred out reflection of the houses reflects in the water adds for a nice view.

I was at this same place myself some 4 years ago, but that was in autumn så the weather was kind of gloomy.

Hi Per,
It is a nice and interesting shot. It is not often, at least not where I live, that we see such houses. The photo is very clean, clear and sharp.
There is one thing however that you could use here. Centering the main element of the photo is not always recommended. The is a rule called the rule of the thirds, and usually, you put the main element in the left or right third. Also, it is not recommended to have too much foreground or sky.
In this photo, you could have cut much of the water and sky, to make a panoramic effect, and put the house on the left third. It would have been interesting to see the result.
Good job nonetheless, especially with a cell phone camera!

A lovely house and boat shelter, with very good light, colors and sharpness. You have a slight "tilt" on the right but not very disturbing.

Beautiful place which was well captured. Electrical or telephone lines in this picture may reduce impression of tranquility of this place.

Peaceful place!
I like the centred composition, the angle of lighting is good and brings life to the houses...
Atmosphere of a beautiful early summer day well captured... Cables are not so pleasant though!
