"When Norwegians want to get away from it all they head for Kragero", publiced the newspaper The Independent in an article on Kragerø.

Forests, fjords and islands await them at the place where Edvard Munch found peace and relaxation.

Edvard Munch fell in love with Kragerø in his days, and called it "The Pearl of the Coastal Towns".

Well, these buildings are painted in such bright and cheery colours that it indeed would be a pleasure to while away time here.
Great composition with all the varying roof lines and topped off by the interest of the boat in the water.

These colours are marvellous! I like the way the vertical yellow boards are echoed, horizontally, in the little boat. A strong and effective composition.
