Photographer’s Note
I’m not sure how to translate the name of the river passing the centre of Trondheim, but here it is as it appeared in the pleasant spring weather yesterday…
The old warehouses by the river are now converted to residential units… in the upper price scale let me add!
The yellow building to the left hand side holds the Museum of Shipping History...

Nice spring photo. I passed through Trondheim many years ago on my way to the arctic circle. The colour and light are very vibrant. Pity about the rubbish bin (presuming that is what it is), I think it detracts from the anchor. But you can't have everything the way you want it! I love the earthy yellow-ish museum wall on the right and the church spire peeking out over the back of the houses.

Andrew

Hi Pablo,
You've taken good advantage of the early morning light in your well-framed compo. The golden wall in the foreground brightens the picture and like Andrew, I like the chirch spire peeking over the lovely old buildings.

Your photo holds a lot of character. The shape of the houses, their colours, the river, and the large object leaning against a rock (is it an anchor?), all immediately made me think of Scandinavia. It is strange, as I have never been to Norway, yet these things together spark something in my brain.
Good angle, POV, and composition. Well framed, too. It looks like you framed your frame, incidentally. I like it.
TFS.

Hello Pablo
I like the capture of the building by the river. But... the yellow museum disturb me a little, also as a bit too dark houses. Nevertheless it is a good material for Photoshop ;). I realise that for others the big contrast between the bright and dark buildings can be an advantage.
Have a nice day.

hello Pablo,
I like the composition you took here, very nice place, the shot is well taken. there is a little problem with the light by the last houses, they are fallen in shadow. I think you can made this a lot better with a highlight tool. Myself I use photoshop CS2. I shall made a WS then you know what I mean. good job and happy easter.

Hello Pablo!
Thank you for your kind visit.
The concept of beauty is very strong in your work, I have been able to make out while browsing through your portfolio.
This picture here is beautiful in terms of composition, colors and perspective.
That, in my opinion, is the major objective of photography as an art.
Photo-journalism is a different matter altogether.
Warm regards.

wonderful composition with color and the elements. this anchor on the frame reminds me of my childhood, my father used to be a dock worker, whenever i visited him at his workplace i used to dream about being a sailor and all that!
good amount of details to explore and also think about life itself.

Hello Pablo,
Very good composition of this charming city.
I especially love these colored houses, typical of Norvegian architecture. I am sure the prices must rise quite quickly, as these old warehouses are sold for residences.
Nice sunny view.

Hi Pablo,
A beautiful composition of the old warehouses by the river. Those coloured façades are really attractive and I can understand why they get so expensive. Although they are at the shadow, you managed to get a wonderful photo. The yellow Museum works perfectly to frame the left side of the view and give dephness and brightness to the image. The soft sky (not so strong as usual) is allways a good adiction in your shots. Congratulations and thanks a lot for sharing!

Really well composed, bringing the best of not such a bright sky. These colourful house are really very attractive, but I'm just curious if there is enough light in the warehouse-converted apartments with windows on two sides only?
Nice detail of an old anchor, too.

I'm always surprised by the essentiality of your compositions, like this one where only few elements appears in the scene. Of course this is a sign of a good photographer, still I think national pecularity plays a part: in Scandinavia towns are relatively simple with few disturbing objects around, so the photos shot there are often "clean". In Latin countries towns are very often a mess of cars, elettricity cables, street signs, advertisments posters, awful graffitis in the walls, and .... rubbish!
Well, this don't take nothing out of this charming composition of yours...
Best compliments,
Donato
