Nigardsbreen is a glacier arm of the large Jostedalsbreen glacier. Nigardsbreen lies about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of the village of Gaupne in the Jostedalen valley, Luster, Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located just west of the Jostedøla river.

Hello Monika, This is a well though and attractive composition. The person in the red sweater is well placed, makes us understand the dimensions and matches the colour of the blueish glacier. The surfaces of ice and rock show fine details and create an interesting pattern.

impressive glacier which high is illustrated by the woman. I like the contrast of the colors: light blue for the ancien ice and red for the cloth.

Was browsing through your gallery this morning, you photograph very nice and interesting places! This one is amazing! The lady was really close to these glacier! It would've been astonishing seeing this huge spectacle live! Great capture!

Hello Monika,

A beautiful vertical shot of the glacier captured nicely with sharpness. I like the bluish color on the ice. The gred sweater makes a nice color contrast and grabs the attention. The girl is placed well off the center and gives an idea about the height of the glacier. Nice work.
