This is the second image in a series that I've made on the car ferry from Kaupanger to Gudvangen. This route is more a cruise than a simple fjord-crossing. During the 2 hours of this almost 50 kilometers long journey you enjoy the tranquil views of Sognefjord, Aurlandsfjord and last but not least Nærøyfjord. This last fjord is one of the narrowest fjords, at some places only 300 meters across with 1700m high mountains looming on both sides. Highly recommended to any Norway visitor, I rate it even higher than the famous and also impressive Geiranger route.
On that particular morning, the clouds just cleared from a rainy night. Still hiding great vistas and mountain tops, the weather made for many magic moments I'd like to share with this series.

Very nice image. The B&W gives a mysterious athmosphere tho the shot. I like the light passing through the clouds and reflecting in the water.

Wow, great photo of a Norwegian fjord. Good idea to use black&White, making it look quite eerie. Very well done!

Yes, very nice picture indeed although I am not a great fan of B&W.
I recognize the quite sea of fjords enclosed by mountains (reminds me of Trondheim fjord some years ago).
