I really feel I am putting my head on the line with this photo.
My very first attempt at HDR photography.

Well, first things first. I know the photo isn't perfect and I do hope you have a little consideration at that.
The foreground didn't exactly come out as I wanted it, but a first attempt is a first attempt I guess...

Now, this photo was taken at Hellestoe, a beach area about 1km from where I live.
This happened to be a rather protected area that allows for many photo oppourtunities and I will be sure to come back later.
This sunset wan't exactly impressive but I felt I had to make the best out of it.

As for the technical side:
The photo is made from a total of 5 photos with exposure ranging from 1/60 to 1/8 seconds. Aperature was 5.6. Photos taken with 3 stop interval.
I did you a tripod, but as you can see the wind grabbed it a little.

Now, I hope you enjoy the result.
Have mercy, but I do want tips towards the postprocessing. I really need to know what to do better!

Hi Odd Jarle. The scene looks primordial or at least stuck in the times of the Norse sagas.Something to do with the shadows and the subdued light. Regards. Klaudio.

Hei Oddi,

This is straight out of Ivar Aasens "Mellom bakkar og berg." Peacefull scene. A nice mood to this image. TFS.

Hello Odd
Great landscape picture with low and high key mixture. I like your pOV also. Bravo ihsan

Hey OJ.

Actually I like it the way it is.. But as Halgeir thinks of Ivar Aasen, I feel it's more "Vem kan Sëgla".. :)
The mystic atmosphere is well created by the dark rocks - that still lets us see its textures. Only thing is the sky.. it seems a bit mixed. Other than that I think you should be satisfied:)

Hi Odd Jarle,
I´m no expert but i must say that i like this photo very much. I like the way you have captured the cold atmosphere. I hope to see more of your photos from Rogaland, a very nice part of Norway.
