Photographer’s Note
Still testing my new camera, I tried different kind of settings at night. The lense I bought is quite lightsharp and nice to catch those evening shots..:) tried to catch the life in the little flame as well..
This is just outside Paparazzi in Stavanger bye the way...:)
Hope you like it?

Hei P.C.
Nice composition, and detail. I think you captured the movement in the flame quite nicely. (One of the advantages to the SLR compared to the compact camera is the creative controll you the photographer have.) Nice work. TFS.

Halla PC...
Still experimenting? Well that's proparbly just what you need to do. Nothing is better than hands on experience.
Ok about your photo, the subject itself isn't exactly exciting, it is not something I would yell WOW about.
What makes me interested is the quality of the shot.
Excellent focus on the torch, a little return light from your flash but really nothing serious.
Great DOV, the full focus on the torch combined with the high shutter opening creates a very fitting "out there" effect on the background.

Nice contrast between the sharpness of the torch and the blurred and dark background. The definiton is clearly much better than with your previous camera (or mobile phone...).
All the best,
Emmanuel
