If you look closely you can see the third sword behind the one to the right. Added som clouds to the fram to get a 3D version:) A nice day in Madla.

Swords in mountain:
is made by sculpturemaker Fritz Røed from Bryne and was revealed by King Olav in 1983. The Monument is placed in the inner corner of Hafrsfjord in Stavanger county, where three large swords is drawn into the mountain in the memory of the battle of Hafrsfjord in 872, when Harald Hårfagre gathered Norway into one kingdom.

The biggest sword is to represent the victorius King, while the two other ones symbolise the loosing smaller kings. The monument is also a peace symbol - the swords are put in the mountain to never get used again.

Nice composition, I like the note as well. Very informative. Very nice work portraying this place. The three swords are a landmark that one should see in sunlight whilst visiting stavanger. TFS.

Truly the swords on the rock are a nice monument, but I feel they look a little better when up close.
Composition works, maybe the swords are placed a little too much off center.
Cloud effect is very nice, maybe a little anonymous but they still create the 3D effect.
Photo quality is not perfect but it works, quite noisy and acutally a little pixelated.
It looks good though.

Well composed shot of this place and I like to see these three swords! The people are a nice addition too. I like the idea of adding clouuds to the frame, it looks nice! Well done.
