Photographer’s Note
This is proparbly my first attempt at a multi merged photo.
The in order to try to get some motion blur in the water I made this final image out of a toal of 5 photos.
I'm sort of satisfied.
The blur wasn't as present as I wanted it, but I can't expect too much on my first attempt.
The result varies a bit depending on your screen/monitor but I believe the impression should be roughly the same.
These photo were taken at the way end of the beach at Sola a few weeks ago.
The rest of the beach is about 2,1 km long and covered with a high quality sand, but at this end it suddenly changes over to this rocky style before it turn to more rocky cliffs.
The camera settings were manual, I simply use the program setting as index and I simply underexposed that result and tried with different f-stops to achieve the desired effect.
All photos were shot handheld.
Well, that is all for now.
Enjoy the result.

Hallo Odd Jarle!
There'S so much beauty in this picture! The contrast between the nearly black foreground and the wonderful colours of the background works very well here. I like very much the golden sheen on the water. More words would disturb here ...
Greetings from cool but sunny Germany!

Hi,
Very nice picture, precise composition with beautiful painting on the sky. I like the foreground - although a bit too dark, it looks good in this frame. Well done :)

Well, it does not look as a muti-merged picture since I do not really know the kind of effect you were trying to get. I just enjoy the nice soft sky colors, the light that reflect slighty on the sea on the right, to give some contrast with the black rocks. A very nice seascape.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Hi Odd Jarle,
Good managing of the adjustments to obtain a good aesthetic result. I like the weak light and the low luminosity of the image, and its beautiful colors.
The effect of the exposure time on the water is fantastic.
Great work.
Best regards,
Josep
